Abstract of communication:
The Dresden Area has one of the highest concentrations in activities related to the semiconductor industry within Europe. The cluster of excellence "Cool Silicon" was formed in 2008 in order to focus significant parts of the future developments towards energy efficient ICT. The talk will give a very brief overview on Cool Silicon and draw some conclusions for the upcoming call on green ICT.
